Job summary

Bootlegger's - Old Town Scottsdale is seeking friendly servers to take and deliver food and beverages, greet guests, and explain specials. You will handle orders in the Aloha POS system, ensure accuracy from kitchen to table, and monitor guest satisfaction throughout service.

Applicants should have at least one year of serving experience, be 19+, and hold a valid Food Worker Card; good English communication is required and energy to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Must have one year of professional serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Must be highly energetic and have a high sense of urgency.
• Valid Food Worker Card required.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Feels confident to handle a 5-7 table section
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Takes the order and inputs the order into Aloha, the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
