Job summary

Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa is seeking a dynamic Server to join our team. The role requires delivering exceptional guest service, accurately taking orders, and presenting checks while maintaining a clean, efficient dining environment.

This is a part-time, on-site position in Reno, NV. Ideal candidates have at least one year of hotel/restaurant serving experience, can multi-task, and communicate effectively with guests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; post-high school education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitors food distribution and ensures meals are delivered correctly and nicely presented.
• Checks station for set-up and cleanliness before/during/after shift.
• Abides by liquor regulations pertaining to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Familiar with menu items, preparation, and service procedure.
• Totals checks, presents to guests, and processes payments.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
