Hy-Vee's Market Grille is seeking a Server to greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals and beverages in a fast-paced store setting. You will help create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere and ensure a great guest experience from seating to payment.

You will learn menu items, prepare drinks, and handle payments while upholding Hy-Vee's service standards. Training is provided, with no formal education required beyond a readiness to learn.

Formación

• No education requirement; 0–2 years related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests with a smile, learn their names, and create a warm, welcoming experience from seating.
• Present menus, answer questions about items, and make recommendations.
• Take orders, enter into the POS system, and transmit to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages, prepare or serve specialty dishes as needed.
• Prepare drinks and chill wine as needed; check guest satisfaction and address issues.
• Verify ages for alcoholic beverages and handle payments and tips accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, counters, and service areas; stock supplies.
• Work with teammates to ensure guest satisfaction and a pleasant environment.
