Job summary

Up to Par Management, LLC is seeking friendly, upbeat servers who can welcome guests and keep their cool when the dining room is busy. You will assist with seating, explain menus, take orders, and ensure accurate, appealing presentation of every plate.

Responsibilities include open/ pour of wine, complying with West Virginia liquor laws, managing payments, and maintaining guest satisfaction through dessert. Priorities include teamwork, professionalism, and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in serving or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and ID checks.
• Ability to multitask during busy shifts.
• Excellent customer service and a professional appearance.
• Clear communication with guests from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, assist with seating and explain menu and daily specials.
• Take orders accurately, relay to kitchen and bar, and ensure timely service.
• Check plates for accuracy and presentation before serving.
• Open and pour wine/champagne, and adhere to WV liquor laws.
• Keep drinks filled and guests satisfied from start to finish.
• Handle payments, give receipts, and process closing tasks.
• Clear and reset tables and assist with front-of-house duties.
• Resolve guest concerns with good judgment and involve a manager when needed.
• Support teammates and lend a hand as required.
