Job summary

Legal Sea Foods is seeking a Server to enhance the guest experience by recommending and serving food and beverages to high standards. You will greet guests, take orders, explain menu details, and input orders into the POS with accuracy.

Provide attentive service, check satisfaction, and assist with clearing and resetting tables to ensure a smooth dining flow. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, cash handling ability, and familiarity with the POS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and paperwork accurately.
• Must be knowledgeable of Legal Sea Foods menus, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take food and beverage orders.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Ask about allergies and enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Provide attentive service and check on guests during meals.
• Refill drinks, clear plates, and reset tables.
• Assist with tidying tables and maintaining a pleasant dining area.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Present bills and process payments quickly and accurately.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and collaborate with team members.
