Job summary

The role requires 6- to 8-hour shifts, ability to stand, read menus, and communicate guest needs to team members and managers; a valid TABC certification and a high school diploma are preferred; must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid TABC Certification required.
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to read menus and communicate guests’ needs.
• Stands and walks during 6-8 hour shift; may lift 10-30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain friendly, courteous temperament and professional image.
• Have complete menu and bar knowledge; perform service procedures for food and beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
• Discuss guest requests with managers and keep supervisor informed.
• Never serve intoxicated guests and uphold safety and service standards.
• Performs opening, shift change and closing duties.
