Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in the United States seeks a Server for Cinco Ninos American Mexican restaurant to provide friendly, responsive service and deliver a beyond-expectation dining experience. You will work with teammates to maintain a smooth, efficient dining environment and represent our Promise of Lead with Love.

Pay Rate - $2.13/Hr + Tips. Must be at least 18, with 1 year front-of-house knowledge preferred and basic POS/Micros operation skills.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
Ability to operate a Micros terminal, Phone system, POS system, and beverage dispenser.
Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
Greet guests, inform them of specials, provide menu tours, and recommend items you genuinely feel guests will enjoy and menu changes.
Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders into the point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
