Job summary

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is hosting a job fair and seeks Server Assistants to help provide a smooth dining experience for visitors during events. This role involves supporting waitstaff, keeping dining areas clean, and assisting guests throughout service.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of high-volume restaurant experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in high volume restaurant preferred.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist waitstaff by refilling water, coffee/tea, replacing utensils and clearing plates between courses.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests to enhance dining experience.
• Maintain a clean, stocked supply of utensils, napkins, condiments and items.
• Assist with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Provide support to team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
