Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Server to create memorable guest experiences at events and daily service. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure quality hospitality. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and responsive guest service to support event success.

You will work with a team to maintain service areas, follow alcohol policies where applicable, and uphold Aramark standards for food safety and guest satisfaction. This position is on-site at our Maryland facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server or in a food service role preferred.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serves food and beverages to guests according to orders and banquet menus.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items and other offerings.
• Maintains appearance and cleanliness of service areas during events.
• Replenishes food and beverage products.
• Checks IDs and adheres to alcohol service policies and safety guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service and anticipates guest needs.
• Cleans and sanitizes service areas and equipment.
• Maintains a positive demeanor with guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and protects company assets.
