Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant Server in Kansas City to provide friendly, professional service, take and deliver food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires knowledge of liquor regulations, a Food Handler Card, and a TABC license, with flexibility for varying shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, inputting orders, delivering meals, maintaining station cleanliness, and supporting other restaurant staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations.
• Hold a current Food Handler Card or in process of certification.
• Hold a valid TABC license.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage preparations and service standards.
• Ability to communicate in English at a basic level.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and explain specials/promotions.
• Check station setup for cleanliness and readiness.
• Record and repeat guest orders to ensure accuracy.
• Input orders into POS system for kitchen preparation.
• Deliver orders with appropriate condiments and check for satisfaction.
• Comply with liquor regulations and guest safety policies.
• Replenish beverages and upsell desserts or specialty coffees.
• Assist bus staff in clearing and resetting tables.
• Complete side work and maintain hygiene standards.
• Present checks promptly and follow company procedures.
