Job summary

Aubergine Kitchen is seeking a Runner/Busser to support front of house and dining room operations. You will deliver orders, assist guests with warmth, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space.

Must be 21+, pass onboarding, and obtain a Food Handler Certificate within 14 days. Availability 3–5 shifts/week, weekends; paid $16.00/hr with tips. Flexibility for closing duties; occasional night shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong English fluency; bilingual Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred.
• Personal maturity, confidence and warmth with guests; composure when things go wrong.
• 21+; prior guest-facing hospitality experience preferred.
• Completes Aubergine's onboarding program; Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire (company-supported).
• Available 3–5 shifts/week including weekends/holidays (closed Sundays).
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to tables accurately, promptly, and with a friendly presence; confirm order correctness and respond to concerns.
• Keep the dining area clean and organized; clear plates, wipe tables, sweep floors; restock customer-facing items. Periodically check restrooms and flag maintenance needs.
• Communicate with kitchen and leadership to ensure order accuracy and speed; support cashier/front team as needed; night shift runners assist with closing duties.
