Kress Food Market in Downtown El Paso is seeking a Merchandise Sales Associate to welcome guests, sell Kress-branded apparel and souvenirs, and process transactions accurately while maintaining an attractive, fully stocked merchandise area. This role blends proactive guest service, product knowledge, visual merchandising, inventory support, and loss-prevention awareness.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience in retail or cashier roles is preferred but not required.
Strong customer-service mindset and professional communication.

Responsabilités

Greet and engage guests and provide attentive service throughout the shopping experience.
Promote and sell merchandise including apparel and souvenirs; assist with sizing and product combinations.
Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle different payment methods.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and report shortages or discrepancies.
Support inventory and visual merchandising responsibilities as needed.
Ensure safety and cleanliness of the sales area.
