Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help with stocking and store upkeep at our Temple, Texas location.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours are available and the store emphasizes a safe, friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned
