Job summary

Panera Bread in Belleville, IL is hiring a Restaurant Team Member to be the heart of hospitality, greeting guests, preparing food, and supporting a fast-paced bakery-cafe. You’ll connect with guests, work in areas like Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, and Drive-Thru, and help maintain a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Clear communication in a loud environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, flexible for evenings, weekends, holidays
• Food Handler's Card required by law
• Food service experience is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm
• Assist in different bakery-cafe areas (Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC)
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care
• Stay on the move to assist guests and maintain service flow
• Keep the dining area clean and safe per food safety standards
• Follow daily priorities and help the team set up the next shift
