Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts in The Woodlands is seeking a guest reservations associate to assist guests during the reservation process and provide accurate information.

You will answer calls, greet guests, input data into the reservation system, and communicate policies and options clearly to ensure a smooth booking experience. This on-site role offers hourly pay and opportunities to grow within a hospitality company.

Qualifications

• Can communicate well with guests.
• Ability to deal calmly with customers, showing tact and diplomacy.
• Capable of inputting and retrieving information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and guests.
• Able to sit for extended periods and input at ~40 WPM.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Answer the telephone and greet prospective guests in a friendly manner.
• Input and retrieve data using the computer reservation system.
• Explain hotel facilities, partnerships, and local attractions.
• Know and communicate deposit and guarantee policies when requested.
• Handle complaints professionally and negotiate solutions when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
