Job summary

Cove Communities is seeking an Ambassador for Point Sebago to respond to guest inquiries, manage reservations, and uphold our service standards on-site. You will project a friendly, professional image while promoting Cove’s core values and hospitality mindset.

You will answer calls, operate the reservations system, and assist guests with availability, rates, and amenities. The role may involve upselling services and performing additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess superior customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and guests.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a team.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to sustain all temperature climates.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized reservations systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer reservation calls promptly with a courteous attitude.
• Use reservation system to enter and service reservations.
• Explain availability, rates, and amenities to guests.
• Upsell facilities and services when appropriate.
• Process and reconcile payments; send confirmations.
• Keep managers informed of issues.
• Perform other tasks as assigned (e.g., washing & gassing golf carts).
