DARCARS Automotive Group is now hiring for a Guest Experience Representative!

As the GEM, you are the front-line representative for the dealership and must represent the dealership in a professional, friendly manner at all times. You greet customers as they enter the showroom, direct them to the appropriate party according to dealership policies, and answer basic inquiries. The receptionist intercepts, screens, and routes incoming calls, takes thorough messages, and provides basic information to callers. The receptionist also assists in salesperson daily activities such as administering dealer tags and gas tickets.

In this role, you'll:

  1. Greet showroom customers and determine the nature of their visit.
  2. Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate salesperson of a waiting customer, or introduce the customer to a salesperson.
  3. Answer basic customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person.
  4. Enter data into the prospect tracking system.
  5. Manage the switchboard.
  6. Communicate with callers professionally and efficiently, minimizing wait times.
  7. Take detailed messages including caller's name, company, time, and message.
  8. Distribute messages promptly to relevant parties.
  9. Provide basic information to callers with general inquiries.
  10. Update and distribute the company telephone roster as needed.
  11. Perform clerical and accounting duties as assigned.
  12. Serve as showroom greeter.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  14. Make transaction receipts for sale and service departments if applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Clear and pleasant telephone communication skills conveying professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and employees.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish and Chinese) is a plus.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions and policy documents.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Pass pre-employment screening including background check.
