Job summary

Target is seeking a Small Format Team Member in Chicago to deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will help with stocking, pricing, and inventory control while ensuring a welcoming store environment for customers.

The role requires a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays, and a willingness to operate in a busy store with various departments. Training will cover Point of Sale, safety, and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and guest-first culture across the store.
• Retail business fundamentals including pricing, promotion, and inventory management.
• Ability to support daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while you complete tasks.
• Assist guests and solve their specific needs in a friendly manner.
• Thank guests and reinforce that they chose Target.
• Know store tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Work in all departments to keep the sales floor stocked and presentable.
• Assist with truck unload and stock replenishment.
• Perform weekly price changes and ensure accurate signage across departments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scans and audits.
• Follow safety policies and participate in store upkeep and cleanliness.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pickup, and Drive‑Up as needed.
