Job summary

Bar La Rue, operated by DineAmic Hospitality in Chicago's West Loop, seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day FOH operations and guest experiences. You will support the General Manager in driving sales, managing costs, and building a top-performing team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years managing a high-volume, full-service restaurant, with a track record of delivering results, leadership ability, and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of full-service management in a high-volume restaurant.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capability to build strong teams and achieve business goals
• Ability to plan and set goals and communicate direction to others.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Valid Allergen, Sanitation and ServSafe Certifications required

Responsibilities

• Meet restaurant standards by implementing productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
• Drive sales and repeat business by building rapport with guests and controlling costs.
• Organize, run and supervise smooth daily shifts, including opening and closing.
• Maintain ambiance and service quality through lighting, music, linen, glassware and plating.
• Recruit, train, coach, and discipline employees; communicate expectations and feedback.
• Monitor performance with ongoing feedback, reviews and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary environment and ensure legal/regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and documentation.
• Perform other duties as needed
