Job summary

Blaze Pizza is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in building a high-performing team and delivering outstanding guest experiences across every shift.

The AM demonstrates Blaze Pizza culture, leads by example, coaches Team Members, and ensures operations excellence through adherence to brand standards and safety policies. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2–4 years in operations management in the QSR, Fast-Casual, Casual Dining or Retail environment.
• Strong analytic, decision-making skills.
• Proven coaching and team development experience.
• Good oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to reinforce Blaze Pizza culture and drive guest service excellence.
• Coach team members and conduct performance conversations.
• Communicate performance growth and observations to the GM to build a strong bench.
• Apply local health and safety codes and company safety policies on every shift.
• Ensure a safe restaurant environment and prioritize guest and team safety.
• Monitor labor, performance and speed with service targets each shift.
• Address guest feedback and strive to exceed service standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and equipment upkeep with corporate support.
• Support the GM in operations excellence tasks as needed.
