Job summary

The Shepherd of the Hills is hiring a full-time Server in Branson, MO to deliver warm, attentive service in both the restaurant and Dinner Theatre. You will greet guests, process payments at the POS, and help ensure a memorable visit from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include upselling specials, coordinating with kitchen and staff, and maintaining a clean service area while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math proficiency for cash handling and making change.
• Willingness to learn the POS system and processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly at the counter with a professional demeanor.
• Process cash, card, and electronic payments accurately at the POS.
• Issue and redeem tickets, vouchers, or gift cards as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter area and assist with to-go orders.
• Answer questions about menu, show schedules, seating, and pricing.
• Upsell current specials and merchandise as directed by management.
• Coordinate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards throughout service.
