Job summary

The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is seeking a Museum Services Associate, Pit Crew, for the Kamin Science Center in Pittsburgh. This full‑time role supports the go‑kart track, simulators, exhibits, and ticketing while delivering exceptional guest service and safety.

You will work a variable schedule including weekends and evenings, handle cash with care, operate the ticketing system, and assist guests in a fast‑paced, team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in customer service.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the briefing room and go-kart track with focus on safety and guest service.
• Oversee exhibits and simulators, assist guests as needed.
• Operate the Science Center ticket counter and POS system with accuracy and upsell opportunities.
• Support Operations Management with guest feedback and on-spot responses.
