Job summary

Kj’s Market in Kingstree, SC is hiring a Front Porch Guest Service/Cashier to maintain guest service standards, assist with scheduling, train hosts, and handle cash, refunds, and check approvals.

You will ensure the front porch is clean, supervise hosts, process invoices, deposits, and daily cash counts, and protect store funds.

If you are friendly, comfortable with computers, able to lift 25 lbs, and 18+, apply to join our family-owned store.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally and 15 lbs. constantly.
• Ability to read, understand information, and direction.
• Knowledge of front porch operations.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multitask and technical requirements.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrate successful use of math skills.
• Ability to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest service standards.
• Coordinate scheduling with Store Manager and Guest Service Manager to meet service levels.
• Train cashiers to call additional hosts when needed.
• Handle guest requests, refunds, loans, pickups, voids, and check approvals promptly.
• Keep front porch clean and parking lot clear of debris.
• Model professional speech, dress, hygiene, and integrity.
• Block unused check lanes when not in use.
• Monitor and enforce front porch policies related to Asset Protection.
