Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to uphold our high cleanliness standards and ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires 1 to 3 months housekeeping experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong organizational and time-management skills, and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include inspecting guestrooms, reporting deficiencies, updating room status in the system, assisting in training, and supporting housekeeping operations to keep rooms

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to exceed expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.
• 1 to 3 months related experience in housekeeping.
• High school diploma or GED; strong organizational, time-management and prioritization skills; exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guestrooms to ensure cleanliness standards are met and that amenities are stocked properly.
• Conduct opening procedures and distribute work assignments.
• Check fixtures and room conditions for proper operation and report deficiencies.
• Communicate cleaning deficiencies to Housekeeper and ensure corrections are made.
• Update guestroom status in the Property Management System.
• Assist in training of Housekeeping associates and support other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Ensure storage closets are organized and stocked; log Lost and Found items.
• Support month-end reporting and department meetings.
