Job summary

DelMonte Hotel Group in Ohio is seeking a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Inspector to help maintain pristine guest areas and support training for housekeeping staff.

You will oversee cleanliness standards, inspect rooms, update the PMS, and assist with month-end inventories while ensuring exceptional guest service. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits as part of a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months related experience in housekeeping.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct opening procedures and distribute work assignments.
• Inspect all assigned guestrooms ensuring cleanliness standards are met and proper stock of amenities.
• Check fixtures, equipment and room conditions for operation; report deficiencies.
• Communicate cleaning deficiencies to Housekeeper and ensure corrections are made.
• Update guestroom status in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Assist in training of all Housekeeping associates.
• Assist Housekeepers in cleaning of guest rooms as needed.
• Ensure housekeeping storage closets are well-stocked and clean.
• Log and store Lost and Found items properly.
• Keep hallways clear of trash and unnecessary items.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed or assigned.
• Assist with month-end reporting and inventories.
