Job summary

Aloft-Houston-By-the-Galleria is seeking a Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming spaces in our Houston property. You will help ensure guest rooms and public areas are spotless, restock supplies, and assist with waste removal and linen transport to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic cleaning and sanitation procedures understood.
• Strong work ethic and reliability with punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials from guest rooms, public areas, and service zones.
• Transport clean linens, towels, and supplies to housekeeping carts and storage areas as needed.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairwells.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Support housekeeping staff by preparing rooms for cleaning and restocking supplies to ensure timely room turnover.
