Job summary

Quorum Hospitality, Field Station Joshua Tree in Yucca Valley, CA, is seeking a dual-role House Attendant / Maintenance Engineer to keep guest areas pristine and the property well-maintained. You will balance housekeeping tasks with basic maintenance to ensure a safe, comfortable stay for guests.

Hourly pay ranges from $19.50 to $21.50, with full-time hours typical. The role requires flexibility on weekends/holidays and a strong team attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping, facilities or maintenance preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Basic maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, or HVAC.
• Trade certification or licensing is a plus.
• Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lb occasionally, 50 lb frequently, 20 lb continuously.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable team player.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize public areas, back-of-house spaces, and guest areas.
• Ensure furniture and fixtures meet property standards.
• Remove debris and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Prepare and stock cleaning carts with supplies.
• Safeguard keys and guest privacy at all times.
• Assist Room Attendants by stripping rooms for guest arrivals.
• Inspect furniture and report damage promptly.
• Support laundry, fitness center sanitation, and spaces as needed.
• Other housekeeping-related tasks as needed.
