Everhome Suites Yuma is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to keep the property clean, safe, functional, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-organized, and comfortable handling a variety of general maintenance tasks in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities include routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and timely responses to guest needs. A flexible schedule, including some weekends or on-call shifts, is required.

Qualifications

• General maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Provide guest-facing service and communicate professionally with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and common areas.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, fixtures and equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and work orders.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Maintain exterior, grounds, mechanical areas and maintenance workspace.
• Assist with room turns to meet hotel standards.
• Identify safety or maintenance concerns before they escalate.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable handling a variety of general maintenance responsibilities in a hotel environment. Compensation:

$19 - $22 hourly

Qualifications

• We’re looking for someone who:
• Has general maintenance or facilities experience; hotel experience is a plus
• Is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Provides great customer service and communicates professionally with guests and team members
• Can prioritize multiple tasks and respond appropriately to urgent maintenance needs
• Is willing to work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional weekends or on-call situations
• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
