Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a Host in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment or equivalent experience.
• Strong work ethic, team player, and exceptional guest service skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality guest experiences and memorable City Winery visits.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a positive disposition.
• Aptitude to resolve problems and maintain composure under pressure.
• Professional guest service experience and polished presentation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• English literacy including basic math and POS proficiency.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand/walk, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage first and last impressions for City Winery guests.
• Escort guests to seats and set up dining experience per floor plan.
• Handle inquiries and reservations, directing to departments as needed.
• Maintain clean, presentable dining areas and assist with setup/breakdown.
• Manage calls, voicemails, emails, deliveries, and reservation communications.
• Maintain reservations and seating using designated system; provide wait time estimates.
• Perform opening/closing tasks and rotate seating across stations.
