Job summary

Saint Arnold Brewing Company in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, seat tables, and manage the waiting list in a fast-paced beer garden environment.

You will greet guests, determine seating, take party sizes, coordinate with servers, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space. Prior restaurant experience and basic cash handling skills are preferred; TABC and Texas Food Handler certifications are required before starting.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Basic math and money handling skills.
• TABC seller certification and Texas Food Handler’s Training required prior to start.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• English communication required; additional language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and seat them.
• Determine ideal table based on party size and preferences.
• Manage waiting list and provide accurate wait times.
• Assist servers and managers by communicating guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist as needed.
• Handle the merchandise area and upsell when appropriate.
• Follow company cash handling policy.
• Open and close duties as required.
• Work as a team with coworkers.
• Thank guests as they depart and ensure expectations are met.
