Fish City Grill in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Host to warmly greet guests and manage seating with a cooperative, energetic attitude. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area and coordinate with servers and bussers to ensure smooth flow during busy periods.

The role requires basic hospitality skills, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and customer-facing teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
• Able to interact professionally with other Customers and Team Members.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet every Customer with a personable, upbeat greeting.
• Manage seating and monitor wait times to maintain flow.
• Open and hold the door for Customers and assist with carrying items as needed.
• Explain Chalkboard specials and menu details to guests.
• Notify a Manager of all Customer complaints and maintain a calm demeanor.
• Assist other team members (Busser/Servers/Bartenders) as needed.
