Job summary

IHOP Norman is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet guests and seat them promptly, aiming for seating within 30 seconds. You will rotate stations to balance service and maintain a welcoming first impression for every guest entering the restaurant.

No prior experience or training is required. You will answer phones, take To Go orders, manage the waiting list, keep restrooms stocked and clean, and clear and reset tables in line with IHOP SOP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, communicate with guests and team members.
• Basic arithmetic for handling tabs and to-go orders.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and seat them promptly.
• Rotate station seating to balance service quality.
• Answer the telephone, take messages, and complete all To Go orders.
• Maintain a waiting list and keep restrooms stocked and clean.
• Clear, clean and reset tables, chairs, and floors after guests leave.
