Job summary

Callaway Gardens Resort, Inc. is seeking a friendly and professional Guest Services Gate Attendant to greet guests, process admissions, verify memberships, and provide directions at entry points.

You will handle ticket sales, scan pre-purchased tickets, and answer questions about attractions and events while maintaining efficient traffic flow during peak periods. Training on the ticketing system will be provided, and a positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle high volumes of guests.
• Ability to learn and operate a ticketing/POS system quickly.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Hospitality or guest service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Process ticket sales, scan pre-purchased tickets, and verify memberships using the ticketing system (training provided).
• Provide accurate information about attractions, events, pricing, and directions.
• Maintain efficient traffic flow at entry gates during high-volume periods.
• Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately.
• Resolve basic guest concerns or escalation issues to supervisors when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gate or booth area.
• Follow all safety procedures and guest service standards.
