Job summary

Outback Steakhouse host position at the Out West Restaurant Group location offers an opportunity to create memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced dining environment. You will greet guests, manage seating in the dining and bar areas, and ensure a smooth handoff to service staff while maintaining a friendly, attentive demeanor.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to upsell menu items when appropriate, all while upholding hospitality standards and safety

Qualifications

• Customer-focused host opening and greeting guests.
• Ability to communicate clearly and maintain a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with servers and hosts to manage seating flow.

Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression.
• Greeting incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner; seating guests and handing off to staff.
• Coordinating waitlists and seating with a sense of urgency.
• Always smiling and engaging with Guests to enhance their experience.
• Know menu basics and upsell products when appropriate.
• Answering the phone promptly and directing calls.
• Assist with bussing tables, delivering food and drinks, and supporting the team.
• Lead the lobby experience following hospitality standards.
• Maintain safe food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation during shifts.
