Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• 6 months cash handling or food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and seat them, balancing workload among servers.
• Receive payments and balance cash drawer at close; complete opening/closing paperwork.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments.
• May process take-out orders and room-service orders; may upsell.
• May routinely clear and reset tables and assist with opening tasks.
• May handle guest complaints and special requests.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
