Job summary

Varnish Lane in Washington DC is seeking friendly, customer-focused front desk associates to create a welcoming client experience across our Friendship Heights, West End and Mount Vernon Triangle locations. Flexible schedule and travel between shops are part of the role.

You will support daily shop operations, assist nail stylists, manage appointments and POS, and help educate clients on services and products. Prior retail or hospitality experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail or hospitality.
• Salon/spa experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming and personable disposition with clients.
• Handle client feedback calmly and in real-time.
• Assist the shop manager with client feedback follow-up as needed.
• Educate clients on services, upgrades and retail products.
• Act as a brand ambassador for natural, waterless care.
