Eataly is seeking a Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and support service in our New York restaurant. You will be the first and last contact with guests, ensuring a smooth flow during service and coordinating with the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining the waitlist, handling reservations where available, and assisting servers to maintain efficient service. Must be able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and seat guests; manage seating flow during service.
• Maintain an accurate waitlist and seating chart using a computerized system.
• Take and manage reservations where applicable.
• Balance guest flow among service stations and accommodate requests when possible.
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and introduce the server.
• Assist servers and bus staff as needed to maintain service efficiency.
