Barcelona Wine Bar in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a personable and efficient host/hostess. In this role, you will be the first point of contact, warmly greeting guests and managing their dining experience from arrival to seating.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to multitask effectively, and interact positively with guests. No prior restaurant experience is required, but a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills towards guests and coworkers.
• Superb reading and writing skills in order to create wait list and decipher wait time.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high volume setting.

Responsabilités

• Greet and seat guests.
• Present menus to guests.
• Create and organize wait lists.
• Manage floor plan.
• Answer phone and respond to questions regarding the menu and restaurant.
• Manage the call-ahead/reservation list with a manager.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
