Job summary

Sun-Valley-Resort in Sun Valley, Idaho, seeks a Restaurant Host to warmly welcome guests, record reservations, and seat guests when tables are available.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and using hands for tasks.
• Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 45 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner upon arrival according to their needs and requests.
• Assist restaurant staff with other tasks such as bussing, clearing tables, cleaning, and restocking napkins.
• Ensure appropriate supplies are available.
• Record and monitor reservations.
• Present menus, make recommendations, and occasionally take orders.
