Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in North Las Vegas is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, escort them to tables, present menus and specials, and coordinate the restaurant service to ensure fast, courteous service. You will also assign breaks, monitor cleanliness, and resolve complaints in collaboration with management.

Extensive customer-facing duties require strong communication and teamwork in a high-volume environment, with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their table according to number in party and station assignments.
• Provide menus to guests and inform them of specials.
• Circulate through restaurant and coordinate activities of service personnel to provide fast and courteous service to customers.
• Assign bus person and food server breaks.
• Inspect and monitor cleanliness of room and compliance with safety and health code regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints; refer complaint to management as appropriate.
