Job summary

Whiskey Cake Las Colinas in Irving, TX is hiring for a part-time hospitality role focused on guest experience. You will engage with guests, manage reservations, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient dining floor.

Qualifications

• Fun, energetic, and work with a genuine care for the guest experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Prior restaurant experience is desired, but not required.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with all guests and co-workers in a professional, hospitable, and friendly manner.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, ready to work.
• Properly accept and book reservations and offer alternatives when needed.
• Calculate and quote accurate wait times and guide guests to drinks or bites when wait is long.
• Keep floors, entry, and aisleways clean and free of debris.
• Assist in bussing tables when needed to manage wait times.
• Provide directions and courtesy to departing guests and new arrivals.
• Be knowledgeable about restaurant information to answer questions.
• Answer all calls and direct to proper department as needed.
