Job summary

Whiskey Cake – Stafford is hiring for an hourly team member to deliver exceptional hospitality and guest experiences. You will engage with guests, manage reservations, maintain a clean dining area, and assist with seating and service needs.

Experience in restaurants is helpful, but not required. Candidates should be energetic, reliable, able to lift 50 lbs, and proficient in English; OpenTable experience is a plus. Medical insurance and 401k available after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Prior restaurant experience is desirable but not required.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and coworkers in a professional, hospitable and friendly manner.
• Arrive on time for shifts and wear proper uniform.
• Accept and book reservations; offer alternatives when desired times are unavailable.
• Provide accurate wait times and guide guests to seating or the bar as needed.
• Keep floors and dining areas clean and tidy.
• Assist in bussing tables when wait times are long or table turnover is needed.
• Answer guest questions and communicate feedback to managers.
