Job summary

Kaskaid Hospitality is seeking an energetic host for our busy Eden Prairie dining room. This hourly role includes greeting guests, checking in parties, answering phones, taking reservations, and coordinating with servers to ensure a smooth service.

You will maintain clean menus and host stand, manage OpenTable reservations, and help create a positive dining experience for every guest. Flexibility with shift times is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with management, servers and guests.
• Basic reading skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must visually scan restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Ability to organize and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Check in employees and highlight on OpenTable.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and takeout orders.
• Keep menus clean and organized.
• Greet, check in and seat guests.
• Print special OpenTable chits with instructions for servers.
• Review reservations and map plan for the shift.
• Capture guest information in OpenTable.
• Coordinate with the manager to manage wait times.
• Keep restrooms and host stand clean, stocked and organized.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
