The role involves coordinating with the front of house and maintaining a neat appearance and readiness for shifts. Responsibilities include knowing all four host positions, maintaining punctuality in full uniform, and delivering accurate wait times while anticipating

Qualifications

• Previous host experience in a high volume restaurant is preferred.
• Must possess interpersonal relations skills.
• Professional in attitude, demeanor, and dress.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that Ted’s standard of service is given to every guest, every time
• Anticipate the guests needs
• To have full knowledge of all four host positions (runner, greeter, hospitality, and podium)
• Be punctual and in full uniform for each shift
• Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures of Ted’s Café Escondido Restaurants’
• Ensure that all health and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
• Have a positive attitude at all times
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned
• Turn tables as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Quote guests accurate wait times
• Communicate with management on large parties and quote times
• Greet guests with friendly smiles and enthusiasm
