Job summary

LDV Hospitality is seeking a part-time Host for American Cut Tribeca in New York. You will greet guests, seat them according to the seating chart, manage reservations, and provide a warm, efficient welcome to every guest as they arrive.

This role emphasizes great customer service, teamwork with the front-of-house crew, and helping maintain a clean, organized dining area in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge of reservation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Seat guests according to seating chart and rotation to ensure fair distribution
• Manage reservations over the phone online or in person
• Provide guests with menus and inform them of any specials or promotions
• Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
• Assist waitstaff with clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
