Job summary

The Countrypolitan Bar and Kitchen, located inside the Hotel Indigo Nashville Downtown, is hiring a Part-Time Experience Host to welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure smooth seating and service flow.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to stand for long periods; weekend availability is required. Compensation is $20 per hour with benefits typical of Arbor Lodging's operations.

• Must obtain and maintain any required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations, wait lists, and seating arrangements in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus as needed.
• Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding table status, guest needs, and service flow.
• Monitor dining room activity to ensure balanced seating and optimal guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and responding to guest inquiries.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu items, specials, and hotel facilities when appropriate.
• Support servers and bussers during peak periods as needed.
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude toward guests and associates at all times.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
