Job summary

Lloyds Full Service Restaurant in Cary, NC is seeking a friendly Host to create a welcoming dining experience as the first point of contact. You will greet guests, manage waitlists on an iPad, answer phones, and provide accurate information about hours and events.

This role works with the service team to ensure smooth seating and a professional, guest-focused environment. Responsibilities include guiding guests, communicating seating status, maintaining a tidy host stand, and upholding NC health

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of managing a wait list and hosting preferred.
• Customer-oriented and upbeat personality.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Exceptional organizational and operational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and professionalism in dealing with staff, customers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Knowledgably answer guest questions, especially in relation to hours of operation, restaurant and city-wide events, and seating availability.
• Efficiently answer phones and assist guests and/or take messages.
• Guide guests throughout the room.
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Effectively utilize iPad to manage wait list and seat guests.
• Assist servers, bussers, managers on the service floor.
• Communicate scheduling conflicts, vacations, and shift changes to managers according to policies and procedures.
• Communicate in a professional manner to all other staff, guests, managers.
• Work together with other staff in a "One Team, One Dream" mentality.
• Maintain clean and presentable guest-facing areas, including windows and floors.
• Comply with all NC Department of Health and Food Safety regulations at all times.
