Job summary

The Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar in Dublin, OH is seeking a Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and balance seating to ensure a smooth flow.

You will maintain a clean, welcoming station, collaborate with servers and bartenders, and embody our values of hospitality and respect. Evening and weekend availability is preferred; starting pay ranges from $11 to $13 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with a genuine and friendly demeanor.
• Be attentive to the door and ensure every guest is greeted in a friendly and timely manner.
• Organize guest seating to ensure an excellent experience by balancing the workload between available servers and bartenders, while accommodating special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
