Food Emporium is seeking a friendly restaurant host in Appleton, WI for part-time or full-time work. You will greet guests, manage waitlists and reservations, escort guests to tables, and provide menus.

You’ll communicate wait times, monitor entryway and dining flow, assist servers by refilling waters or resetting tables, answer the phone, and ensure cleanliness of the host stand. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Formación

• Previous host, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
• Manage waitlists and reservations accurately using the reservation system or manual waitlist.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Communicate wait times effectively to guests.
• Monitor dining room, entryway, and overall guest flow to maintain an efficient seating plan.
• Assist servers by refilling waters, clearing plates, or resetting tables when needed.
• Answer the phone promptly and professionally to take reservations or provide information.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, menus, and entrance area.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
