Job summary

Ted's Cafe Escondido in Norman, OK is seeking a Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests and manage seating, creating the first impression of the restaurant. You will guide guests to their seats and maintain a welcoming, attentive presence throughout their visit.

Role requires punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A high standard of service and teamwork is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Previous host experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Must posses interpersonal relations skills.
• Professional in attitude, demeanor, and dress.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that Ted’s standard of service is given to every guest, every time
• Anticipate the guests needs
• To have full knowledge of all four host positions (runner, greeter, hospitality, and podium)
• Be punctual and in full uniform for each shift
• Follow all guidelines, policies, and procedures of Ted’s Café Escondido Restaurants’
• Ensure that all health and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
• Have a positive attitude at all times
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned
• Turn tables as quickly and efficiently as possible
• Quote guests accurate wait times
• Communicate with management on large parties and quote times
• Greet guests with friendly smiles and enthusiasm
